Start with the letters that are easy to hear and say, especially ones with clear, consistent sounds like m, s, a, t, p, b. These show up often in simple words and are easier for toddlers to recognize and imitate.

Introduce only 2 to 3 letters at a time and stick with them for several days (or even a week) before adding more. In the toddler stage, repetition, familiarity and fun matter far more than covering the whole alphabet quickly.
